RN Refresher Course

Jump Start Your Move Back to Nursing!  This program allows licensed registered nurses to update and enhance their knowledge and skills, resulting in increased competence and confidence in the role of professional nurse. The course is designed to be flexible, with most learning taking place on-line.

Simulation Educator Course

The Rural SimCenter offers a variety of instructor courses throughout the year. These courses provide beginning to advanced instruction in the use of simulation technology.  Our courses help prepare you to become a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE).

AHA Courses

The Rural SimCenter offers American Heart Association classes using Heartcode. Courses are are a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner online, followed by a hands-on session. It combines the flexibility of online training with skills practice and testing for CPR and other psychomotor skills.
